Have a question to the experiance guys:
I’m trying to measure the temperature in an area, where the Relative Humidity is about 70%, and the air is flowing carry a lot of water drops.
When inserting a regular RTD, the reading I got are actually the wet bulb temperature of the air, as the measuring probe was covered with water drops and those drops are evaporating with the air flow, cooling the probe to the wet bulb temp.
Does anyone aware about a probe, specialy designed for measuring the temperature in wet environment?

Thanks - ilan

you touched on the question of what is temperature when the fluid itself is not at equilibrium

in most cases you are forced to relocate the probe to a location well down stream
