I made measurements on a 10 hp AC Motor 3 phase 220 volts. The motor can be connected either 220 v or 400 v. This motor is 220 v. I used Amprobe DMII PRO. I connected current probes to the load on the following sequence: Black, Red, Blue. Then I connected voltage probe to the load on the following sequence: Black, Yellow, Blue Here are the results I obtained first time:
242 V phase to Phase Voltage
10 Amps
2.08 kW
2.31 kVA
1.18 kVAR
PF = 0.9
Then I switched between the two voltage probes (Yellow, Blue) so the sequence becomes Black, yellow, Blue and the current probes sequence was the same. Here are the results I got:
242 V phase to Phase Voltage
10 Amps
4.04 kW
5.01 kVA
2.86 kVAR
PF = 0.83
Question 1: Are these readings reasonable?
Question 2: Which one is correct?
Thanks
