Dear All,

Please advise me how to calculate the MDMT (Minimum Design Metal Temperature) of API 650 Storage Tank.

Find the lowest one-day mean temperature and add 15 DegF
 
IFR is correct. In addition, the temperatures can be found on API 650 Figure 4.2.

Be advised that the title of Figure 4.2 of API 650 is incorrect with regards to the conversion between °F and °C. The correct formula is °C = (°F-32)*(5/9). I will ensure that an agenda item is taken out to correct this issue.
 
SCAST was made aware of this issue some time ago but another poke can't hurt.

I was not aware of this issue previously. I do know there was an issue with the section which read "plus 15°F (-9°C)." That issue has been corrected sometime before 12th Edition Addendum 1. That one was particularly annoying for my OCD.
