We recently obtained an MCV machine and are following the instruction in BS1377 to setup the 250mm drop. We have came up with a method of setting the drop height. And the test itself is straight forward.
An engineer visited the lab recently and told us there is an easy way of setting the drop height by laying the machine down, but he couldn't recall the exact method but said we were over complicating things. Less complexity is always better.
Does anyone here know how this method, perhaps step by step?
