The radial load on the front bearing is almost the same as the overhung radial load. Motor manufacturers usually state the load rating based on (usually) a 10,000 hour running life for the bearing. Bearing manufactures have formulas to calculate bearing life for RPM and load.

The load on the front bearing is greater than the overhung load, and increases with the overhang. A sophomore in engineering school can tell you how much. A junior could figure out how much load/overhang will bend the shaft. Either of them will need a little help from a bearing catalog to predict the bearing life.
An experienced engineer would ask why you can't put a bearing next to the load.
