Hi Guys,

I'm currently working on some hand calculations to establish MAX AVG radius for Compressor Case. Let assume the following scenario.
Compressor Case inside diameter (ID) is known and equals: 10 +/- .5 inch. Also, part drawing specifies the ID rounout: .0015 (artificial values).
Is there any possibility to calculate the subject MAX AVG Radius based on these value.

Please see the attached approach and let me know if you concur with it.

Your help is highly appreciated.

1. No. Runout never controls radius/diameter, ever. Also, radius cannot be "maximum" and "average" at the same time.

2. Runout to what? Runout always has datum(s) and knowing them helps better understand the problem.
