Does anybody know, if it is even possible, how to make gears or cogs, so that they are in a correct mesh, and is it possible to create a mate which alows rotation of one gear and the one mated to it responds by rotating to maintain the correct mesh?

I was thinking a marco might work but I have not been able to make this work!

Any help would be great even if it is just to say that this is not possible!

Thanks in advance

Valintine.

If you are using SW05 look under advanced mates. You'll find gear mates.

Sorry I should have said, I am only using SW01!

Time to upgrade. There are so many more advanced features in 05 vs 01. Otherwise, use mates/write a macro/find a macro.

I thought that might be the general reply!

Thanks for your help.
