So Im trying to place a mate in a rotary clutch system. I'm having problems mating the ball bearings so they will ride in the raceway that was put in with a helix. When I have the ball bearing origin selected it will not let me pick the helix to apply a coincident mate. Any suggestions? See

Start a 3D sketch and use the Convert Entities tool on the Helix. You should then be able to select the 3D geometry for mating.

I convert the helix to a 3d sketch however it still doesn't recognize the sketch.

Sorry about that...tried to correct the post and got trigger happy.

It works fine for me.

Are you selecting the actual spline in the graphics area, or the sketch in the FM.

Ah...I got it now. I was selecting it in the feature tree instead of in the graphics area...surprised that it makes it difference since I have used the tree to mate items in the paste. Thanks for your help.
