I just installed a trial version of mathcad 13 to WF3 M030. I want to test drive the bidirectional link between those softwares.

I create an measurement feature analysis in ProE. I create a mathcad with some variables. Then select Mathcad Analysis in Proe, try to "marry" the platforms or some sort. ProE said that it sees no "tagged parameters for mathcad".

I can't seem to jumpstart this new integration.

Does anyone have any basic knowledge?

I know this integration is new to most of us. Feel free to recommdend anything.

Thank you for reading this post.

Maybe the admin can open a dedicated forum for Mathcad.

There is a required patch to allow MathCad integration with WF3 M030. M040 has the patch built in.

I have a similar question. I would also like to try to get the two programs to run together, but don't know where to start. I'm using Pro/E educational, although I'm not sureif it is M030/040... If I go to Help>About ProE, it gives me a date code F000.

Where would I find out whether or not I need to install the patch, and if I do need it, is it available on PTC's website?

Thanks for any help you might have!!

The patch will only work with M030 and can be downloaded from www.ptc.com.

The student edition/trial versions are only released at F00, initial buggy releases, and as far as I know, never released at newer build codes. Educational versions used by schools should be able to get newer builds. Getting the newer builds installed, especially during the school year, may be a challenge unto itself.
