Materials assignment problem, Pro/E vs Mechanica

I use Mechanica to evaluate models created from different
sources. If I add parts to an existing assembly and the units in the parts are incorrect for the assy all hell breaks loose. Where is the matlib located that drives Mechanica and how do I edit it ?
