Hi,

I am attempting to figure out why my explicit model is progressing so slowly. I have tried mass scaling, but it has not helped much. Could someone tell me if my material parameters are correct? My geometry is in mm, so the units I have chosen are:

conductivity: W/mm*k (for example: 0.0298174 at 310 degrees C)

Young's modulus: N/10^6 mm^2 (example: 188053.95 at 310 degrees C)

density: kg/mm^3 (example: 7.64E-06 at 310 degrees C)

specific heat: J/kg*k (example: 610.42 at 310 degrees C)

Thank you :)
