Hello everyone. I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to perform a calculation related to material handling. I'm trying to replace the use of plastic bags with re-usable mesh bags, but I'm having some issues trying to figure out how many to purchase. These bags are used to transport product from one manufacturing process to another.
I know for sure that I need the following info:
1. Production rate and quantity at process A
2. Production rate at process B
How would I go about linking those two together? Am I missing other important data?
Any suggestions are welcome and greatly appreciated. Thank you.
