Material properties for E52100 STEEL 1

I am trying to modify a solid works material in a new data base for this material. Does anyone have good data for the actual properties for E52100 steel with a Rockwell hardness of 45-50C. I need yield's ultimates, etc.

You shouldn't modify SW material DB!!! You should create your own (even if you copy SW DB out and into a new one) you should only edit your the one you create.

You can get to it through WIndows explorer and edit it in Notepad.

I was not clear, I am have crated a new data base and need accurate properties at this set of conditions, i.e. 45-50 C hardness.

Do you need this material data for FEA or for other reasons. If you need it for FEA then all you really need for analysis is the Poisson's ratio and the Modulus of elasticity.

Those values barely vary due to heattreat condition and chemistry. For modulus you can use 195-210GPa (usually accepted as 30,000ksi) and .29 for poisson's ratio.

A resonable estimate for the UTS of hardened and tempered steel of that HRc is 210-296ksi.

If that wont get you accurate enough results then youl have to talk to some producers of the material. you can try matweb, or maybe carpenter technology.
