do you want to know a specific alloy? Normally I get good results when looking at MatWeb. They give all material identification numbers but not all eupopean names...

I would like to have complete list of materials (steel and alloys) with european names (DIN,ISO)and AISI names, if somebody have it.
Yes, MatWeb is very good site with lots of information but I should translate european (DIN,ISO) names to AISI names.

If you want complete lists then go to each agency and buy them. That is your only option.
In many cases you cannot translate or convert, becuse chemistries and properties don't match exctly.
There are books that are nothign but cross referecnes, there is also information from groups like ASM. Some of the most practical information is the lit from European alloy producers.

Hello,

As I am based in Europe I strongly recommend
(unfortunately this service is not free of charge).

See also FAQ 330-286.

I will be happy being able to help with some EN and DIN steel grades, when needed.

Look for Sthallschlussel And you will have world wide standards.
