Can somebody give me links or just an explanation of the difference between naming material s355j2 or en 1.0577... what naming belongs to what standard and are there any rules on how to use these names?

EN 10025-2 : S355J2
Werkstoffnummer : 1.0577

In construction, EN 10025-X designations are commonly used.
For stainless or exotic materials, the werkstoffnummer is often used.
