Hello,

My company has to verify the design of an old vessel for seismic loads. The material used in that vessel is BS 1501-151-28A, which, I understand, was used widely in the 70's but is not available anymore.

Can anyone tell me what the ASTM equivalent to this material is? I read different opinions on some of the threads here regarding an equivalent to.this. Some people claimed that it was equivalent 285 grade c while one user said it was equivalent to 515 grade 60. However, i couldn't find sources/verification for either of these claims
