I have a composite material tube made of straight and curved sections , meshed with hexa plates in Femap 9.3
The problem is how to define the material direction along the curved part of the tube. Parametric direction of the surfaces (u,v) could be helpful, but I don't find this choice in the menu. Other possibilities ?
Any suggestion would be helpful
