Material Designations - Different ones 1

Being new to the fourm I'm not really sure where to look and the search feature revealed little help.

One of the materials is listed as S355J2G3. I imagine it is a carbon steel type, I just need to know which code this/these numbers come from so I can cross reference them to US material codes. Thanks.
