Hi all,

I am doing a section view of a Tank with Transducers.I did assy level pattern of the transducers. I have two configurations:eek:ne with an Assy level cut-extrude to generate the section view and other in which the Assy cut is suppressed. It worked great.

Now I changed the number of instances in the linear pattern. Edited the feature scope of the Assy Cut and included the newly created Instances of the Pattern. It Cut the patterns well but its generatiing mate errors. When I am toggling to the other configuration ( where Assy cut is suppressed), mates are resolved properly.

If I delete the Assy cut and redo it everything is fine. Any help will be appreciated.

Regards

That's right you are lossing the ID of the items you cut through. - Prime example of using planes to mate with from part to part.
