I am using SAFE V12 for raft design, I have a trouble with punching ratio under some columns so I draw drop slab around these columns, and according to this recommendation

which advice users to draw the drop before the constant thickness mat i did that, but still I have failure in punching and there was no difference in the ratios before and after the use of drop.
what do recommend in such situation, how can I let SAFE consider that thickening ?
