Any comments / help on selecting the best flowmeter that will be reliable in measuring the flue gas in a duct (15' x 15').
I am leaning towards the selection of the OFS-2000 (Optical Scintillation)and would like to get any feedback on it.

Thank you.

I don't know about the Scintillation aspect.

However, you should talk to these people. I built a mass flow meter\computer for them, years ago, that was for the stacks of the second largest gas fired power plant on the planet. So I know they do this large stuff. That was a special one as it was a sampling totalizator system for determining the particulates leaving the facility.

Maybe you can use a Thermal mass flowmeter.
I know the Sierra mass flowmeter and use it in more aplications and work fine.
best regards.

Thanks for the replies.
Sierra would be affected by temp, moisture and any variation in the composition of the gas. I am more thinking of the optical as it is virtually unaffected by such variation as lon as the temp is not < 100F. Any references on the optical.

Thx all.
