Anyone familiar with the design of circular , eccentric manholes and catch basins? Which software is more suitable for designing and analyzing variuos shapes and forms of underground utility structures such as manholes, catch basins, risers, drywell etc.? H-20, and hydostatic loading need to be included in the loading options. thanks for your time

Mostly we just design them by hand. Of course, we've developed some spreadsheet applications now but thats all that is normally used.

For circular structures (upended large diameter pipes) I use Elasticity to account for the thick walls. There is a section in Timoshenko/Goodier written for this. I'm sure you could find something in Roarks as well.
