Hello everyone!

What I would like to build is a shaft with 4 or 5 different areas. Spline shaft - normal shaft - gear - shaft with key- normal.
More or less something like this
I can make different types of shafts with the shaft-function except the spline shaft with transition. The only way I found to do it is with the "spline shaft" function. This will only make a straight shaft without any transitions to other types of shaft. something like this one:
How have you solved this problem?

I would like to learn better how to use the Engineering Handbook from SE. I've read the included documentation but still can't build more complicated parts.

Is there a tutorial or excercices in the net?

cheers,
Claudio
