Making a hexagonal CHB masonry unit.

What advantages will a hexagonal-profiled CHB have over the common rectangular one? They have the same cross section, the main difference being the front view. In connection to this, how will a traditionally layered commom CHB wall compare to a wall made with hexagonal CHB arranged in a honeycomb pattern?
