Hi
is it possible to make rigid body in ansys multyphysics/APDL if we want to do static analysis?. for example in indentation punch be modeled rigid

In Ansys Mechanical: select the body in question from the tree, in details window change stiffness behaviour.

hello L_k
thank you.
I am using ansys apdl...and the tree you mentioned i dont know where it is.
i am doing subsequent analysis and i have to model it in ansys/multiphysics apdl. but one of objects is not important in my analysis
primary analysis was done in the ansys/multiphysics apdl .thats why for continuing analysis i want to model in the same enviroment

this is my ansys that i am using..ansys 17 and photo of software enviroment was attached

Give the punch an elastic modulus 3 or 4 orders of magnitude larger than the material you are punching.
