Hi everybody!!!
I´m project engineer and I´m working in a Rankine cycle project. We are in the state of the project related to the pump definition. My question is, could anybody tell me a list of the best centrifugal pumps manufacturers?

Thank you very much

My I suggest you type "pump manufacturers" into your internet search engine, and press "enter"?

Each pump OEM has their own niche. What is the application?

Flowserve and Sulzer are the two I go to most, but they fit my applications...

Off the top of my head I know of at least 4-5 different kinds of centrifugal pumps...but a lot of the manufacturers make a wide variety of pumps.

I'd go with Goulds or Flowserve, they make a variety centrifugal pumps and we rarely have major issues with.

It depends what industry you are in. Building services, petrochem, oil & gas, mining and minerals, power, nuclear, water and wastewater, food, pharmaceuticals, cement etc etc.

What type do you want submersible, horizontal, vertical, turbine, centrifugal, dosing, boiler feed etc etc.

What standards do you want API, ISO, EN, BS, JIS ....

Suggest you go to and start reading then do an intelligent Google search for the correct manufacturers for your need.

dont forget of course CDR Pumps !!!!!

For any of you who know the commercial for Carlsberg Lager, they would say "If Carlsberg made pumps, they would call them CDR Pumps"

Do a web search for local distributors, then contact the distributors for application assistance. Distributors' application engineers can usually be counted on to point you in the right direction.
