magnitude for direction vector?

What magnitude do I put in the direction vector if I have a acceleration based PSD?
 
Good news, the direction vector gets normalized, so you don't have to worry about it. Soo [1 1 1] is the same as [9.8 9.8 9.8] or [386 386 386].
