I am seeking a precision magnetic worm gear for clean room environment

Rotation speed is low ~1Hz

Moment is low

Very demanding backlash and ripple requirements

Recently there have been papers on magnetic gearing. I don't know if there are commercial sources yet.

Describe your application. Have you considered a direct drive brushless servo on an air bearing?
