Dear people
I have a magnetic coupling (joint) that move a component. It gives a resistance to the motion proportional to the square of the speed. If the speed exceeds a specific limit, there is a slip in the joint. This means that the component go on to rotate but not synchronously to the main shaft. The problem is here. How can I know the torque transmitted during the slip phase? Are there some mathematical model to study this kind of joint?
Thank you
Regards
