Does anyone know the density of an electro-magnet? I've looked everywhere...

Go Honda!

An electromagnet is an assembly, made of many different components. Overall weight is sometimes an issue, not density.

There are many electromagnets!

The density would depend on the material(s) being used and the type of electromagnet.

Be careful using it, it can ruin your monitor.[lol]

Do a Google search for "magnet mass properties". Maybe something there what you are looking for.

Except they will automatically flip if mated on the wrong side.

[lol] If you 'mated' on the wrong side ... [ponder] hmmm ... I think I'd better stop there.

If you're trying to find densities of rare earth magnets then do a google search: We use Neodymiums (Nd2Fe14B) and Samarium Cobalt (SmCo5) in our designs. These are very powerful magnets.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time.

I have used them also. We had to create special tooling to hold in place for bolting.
