Hello All,

I am very new on your forum , catching on 2012
My question : what mag meters manufacturers mean by medium control is separate electrode?

Has anybody had experience with the sciam non-nuclear density meter for mining, dredging and sewage slurries. I guess I'm not allowed to use website notification, but this sure looks an interesting device.

I was interested to see what they had to offer but disappointed that they don't declare their technology. I would guess it to be ultrasonic or using ultrasound (not the same thing as can be seen from the Cidra products.
I would also suggest you compare the accuracy to the accuracy of such devices as the Emerson long stem tuning fork sensor 7828. This has a good history of use in slurries and muds and a well designed installation will avoid erosion (1kg/m3).
In fact vibrating element technologies can be effective depending on whose unit and how installed.
Do compare to other technologies.
