Hello,
Here's my probleme. I'm working on structure which I have to insert like hundreds of rivets in it.
I wold like to know if it's possible to have a macro that insert a cartpart ( here rivet ) and place in holes with a certain diamater ( rivets holes ).

1rt idea : I insert manually the rivets in to the structure and the macro detect all the hole with a certain diameter and place inside ( with constraints of contact and coaxiality I presume )
2nd idea : I tell to the macro wich, cartpart is needed, then it count the number of holes, select the good amount of cartpart and place it ( really unlikely i guess )

Thanks for reading my message

If your rivet holes are created with a pattern, you can re-use this same pattern in assembly; CATIA has this functionality in Assembly called "Reuse Pattern"
