Hello to the group.
I am sure this is very simple for someone familiar with macros or journals.
In NX9 it seems that when you select a component in the assembly navigator and select properties the attributes tab defaults to setting the attributes at the component level. What I want is for it to default to part.
I have zero experience with macros or journal writing.
Not sure what is best to use.
What I am asking is that someone preselects the component and runs the macro which opens up the property dialog box, goes to the attribute tab and sets it to part.
I did record a macro but it always defaults to the part that was selected when the macro was created.
