We want to move from GTAW / GMAW machine to GTAW / GMAW Robot to weld piping.. I know that according to EN, we must do a new qualification (procedure and operator). But according to ASME IX I found that change in manual or automatic technique is a nonessential variable for procedure qualification (QW-410.26). Nothing for performance qualification. So it means that I can use my old qualifications with the same operator ?!
