Dears All,
The weight of a component can be modelled by a Lump Mass element, by creating the element at the center of gravity of the component, or we can apply a force representing the weight of the component, this works well when there is no gravity load applied. So what is difference, if the weight is modeled by a Lump Mass element and analysis is done for vertical 1g loading condition that is under the self weight and applying weight as a force acting down ward with no gravity load.

Thanks for your explanation and help.
