Im trying select a low viscosity lubricant for an experiment im running. Considering spindle oil (ISO 10 or 15) at the moment.

Does anyone have a good source or reference for material specs/properties for this. I need to find out if this is a newtonian fluid or not and what effects anti foaming and rust agents have on viscosity.

Thanks

Why not use a base oil which certainly is Newtonian ?
