I KNOW THIS IS VERY BASIC, BUT THE ANSWER ELUDES ME.
IN COPYING FILES FROM WIN XPLORER TO C-D THE WRITE PROTECT ENABLES.I HAVE TRIPLE CHECKED THE FILES I AM COPYING AND THEY ARE NOT WRITE PROTECTED.
 
I should think this is normal.
On CD, files cannot be overwritten anyway.
When copied back, they will have to be unprotected.
