I am working on an underhung trolley that will ride on the lower flange of a wide flange beam. I can figure out the loading based on the material but was wondering if there might be a chart available to quickly reference these loads.

Get a copy of CMAA. (Crane Manufacturers Association)
for Underruning or for Single Girder Cranes.
It contains formulas for lower flange loading.
It was developed in Germany about 20 some years ago and work
so far w/o. problem.
If in doubt ask!
