We are investigating the feasibility of using a low level river crossing for a golf course. The flow is quite low for 95% of the year and could pass through culverts. There is invariably a spring flood when the water level would be up 5 or 6 ft for a week or so period before the golf season begins. At that time the flow would be over the crossing. Looking for design parameters and cautionary notes for such a concept
