Hi!

What is the formula to calculate the loss resistance of a small loop antenna having a square shape?

I suspect this is only half a question. Do you mean the losses from a transmission line feed through the loop or just the loop losses. Quite complicated as small loops are very low impedance devices and are difficult to match to the line so losses include loop losses + matching losses.

For the loop itself calculate the feedpoint impedance (Zf) and the radiation resistance (Rr). The loss is Zf - Rr.
