Looking for teflon paste

Many years ago (40, I hate to say), a fellow I knew had a can of teflon paste (for lack of a better word). It came in a quart paint type can. The paste was a light green in color. The paste itself was very granular. He told me it would quiet any mating gears, but could only be used in a 'splash' type oiling system. It was applies with a paint brush on the mating surfaces of the gears.

I have searched many places and ask several people, but I have had no luck finding it. Any help would be appreciated.

I sold the raw materials to the likes of Nulon and Slick 50 back in the day. We advised them that the use of PTFE in such circumstances was of very doubtful value as it does not stick to the surface and may block or restrict oil flow to some areas. Oil flow is often necessary for cooling as well as lubrication.

In my opinion a paste product merely takes up clearance much like banana skins.
