Have a new customer which wants some tanks made to with stand 10% HCL @ 80 degrees F and 6% sodium hydroxide @ 120 degrees F. Any suggestions.

Normal austenitic stainlesses such as 317L have corrosion rates in 10% HCl @ 20C of around 50g/sq.meter/day. Hastelloy C will experience 10x less. Consult the literature at Nidi.org.
