We have rejected Aluminum screws. The screws were waxed for lubrication, but the wax was too much dry and caused problem in the assembly. I am looking for a reworking source. Could any one please provide me reworking source info for this type of work? This is the first time we have such a problem. Thanks.

A better treatment may be dry film lube that can be applied either spray or liquid in a tumble batch. A little lube goes a long way. Develop a reduced torque for the lubed screws.

Hi plasgears,
Thanks for your post. But, the problem is, we are just a supplier and don't have any capacity of doing rework in-house. We get the products manufactured in Asia and deliver to our customers in JIT basis. In this case, our customer is facing the problem during assembly.
