Looking for ink with good adhesion and wear on plastic? 1

What type of ink should I use to highlight part descriptions engraved on plastics such as UHMW, Ertalyte and Delrin. The ink should have good resistance to cleaning agents and good adhesion properties. FDA approved would be a plus.

Have you tried talking to specialists in the area - eg Printers. There are tight guidelines for the marking of containers for pharmaceuticals and therefore I suggest finding a suitable label / container manufacturer and asking them.

Have you spoken to the plastic suppliers, because if they are iso 9000 certified then they will probably have methods for marking their products.
