Looking for examples of thermal resistance modeling 2

Can anyone point me to a reference that includes lots of examples of thermal resistance modeling? Does a text exist just on this subject? I've seen some simple models in heat transfer texts but nothing of any real-world complexity.

Thermal resistance, by definition, is a simplification of real-world, though.

You might look at these:

One book that is specifically oriented to thermal resistance modeling is "Thermal Computations for Electronic Equipment" by Gordon Ellison.

I agree that Gordon Ellison's book as a good summary of what you want. He has recently published a completely revised version of his book under a new title, "Thermal Computations for Electronics." It is available from amazon and other sources. His older book is out of print and not up-to-date.
