Asked to size up a repair for a Grob sailplane. Component I need to replace is fabricated from DIN 1.7734.4 seamless tubing.

Anyone got info on that specification? Ideal solution is to find a compatible AISI tubing to effect the repair.

Thanks

Joe

Tom Mara bought most of the spare parts from Grob when Grob announced they were closing the facility at Bluffton.
He may have what you want

Be very careful re engineering steel parts on Grob aircraft, their engineers used to sharpen their pencils very tightly.
