I'm looking for a book that will inform me on how to perform site layout using a set of prints. Determining accurate angles and distances from the plans to locate where these points will be on site.

Any basic undergraduate surveying book will show you how to do this. Suggest Surveying by Raymond and Bannister as a text used throughout the UK

Here are a few:

Construction Measurements, by B. Austin Barry, Wiley-Interscience, 1973, ISBN 0 47105428-3

Roads - Their Alignment & Layout, by R. G. Batson

Construction Surveying, by Jack Roberts

Construction Layout, by Wesley G. Crawford

Anyone with field experience in civil construction will be able to assist you in this task. There are also several survey handbooks that can provide the requisite formulas to calculate reference points, azimuths and bearings, distances, curves (radius or spiral) and coordinates from known points. I have some, but they are Canadian referenced.
