1)Navmat P-9492 (Navy Manufacturing Screening Program, May 1979) provides guidance for conducting thermal and vibration tests to eliminate most latent workmanship defects in avionics electronic equipment. I understand the doucment has been canceled.

2) I would like to know if there is any another (similar) document that is suitable, available and is currently used as a reference in military/commercial applications to conduct ESS tests (thermal/vibration) to eliminate latent workmanship defects.

Thank you.

I don't think you need an alternative. The so-called Willoughby profile is considered a starting point and as Tom Irvine has already pointed out the final screnn is what works best for the product. That is a screen that weeds out defective units without damaging good ones. [sig][/sig]
