We are a design firm in Southern California. We have several projects (new residential construction) with winding steel stairs. To satisfy our clients' expectations, we need to emphasize quality; these stairs become the central "show piece" of the entire structure.
To achieve this goal, we seek recommendations to steel fabricators in our area that can meet our expectations. We expect to achieve both accuracy in dimensioning and a clean presentation (quality fitting and welding that looks professional). Such a fabricatior must be willing to produce shop drawings for our review and approval prior to fabrication. This is essential both to ensure quality and to allow coordination with the overall design of the structure.
