I've always wondered, do you pronounce the I long or short? I've heard both.

JoshPlum, you'll be the official answer.

It's like Visa or Lisa, but with an R.

When I first started out (working for Fluor Daniel), I always wanted to say Rice-a. But, eventually someone set me straight.

Rizza? Sounds a little too gangster to me :)

I've always said rice-a also, but I guess I'll switch.

Now maybe I'll ask the STAAD guys; STOD or STAD?

I use STAAD - as in rhyming with BAD.
